what's love?

What is love? Love is liking someone despite knowing that he's a jerk. Yes.. I finally got it. That's true love. True love is definitely not liking someone onlybecause he's good.. but also liking him even when he's misbehaving. If you can't love a person when he's a jerk.. you can't love at all. Because NONE of us can be perfectly behaved all the time. We all have our mood swings. Yes.. some more common than others. So love comes in to mediate everything.

Such a judgemental society we live me.. Ahhh. yes.. by saying that I am in fact myself judging society.. I finally understand what is maturity. Maturity is simply knowing that the world is a mix of good and evil and that nothing other than God and Jesus is completely good. Yes.. maturity is understanding that nothing and noone is perfect but that's ok because though they are imperfect, they also capable of great acts of courage, righteousness and justice. So.. maturity.. simply put is respecting God's creation enough to tolerate shit in order to keep things and people long enough for the good to blossom. Yes.. you can never really love until you gain a certain level of maturity.. understand that the person you love is imperfect but that's ok. Because we are all imperfect. We just have to learn to tolerate each other. Learn to stick around even when the person is misbehaving. This shows him/her that you really love him/her. It makes him confident that you are not just some innocent brat longing for a fairy tale relationship. But someone who is mature enough to know that EVERY relationship has its ups and its downs. The more you meet the person.. the more friction and the more you uncover the ugly side. It's just a matter of time.. So if everyone sucks.. might as well pick a pretty face.. at least its worth it. TADA.. the secret of love revealed. Sadly.. i believe that's how all men and women feel..

Since we are all scumbags.. might as well pick a pretty face to love. At least.. when she's nagging at you.. you can look at her awesome lips and think of the crazy things you can do when she calms down.. yes.. life...
