The umbrella story

Salvation is not given only to the intelligent and wise.. It is given even to the most simple of us all.. Even to young children and old senile people.. Salvation is not a difficult thing... You don't need to know the entire bible and its explicit nuances to recieve salvation... Nope... In fact, there are many times when Jesus mentioned that to enter the kingdom of heaven all you need is the faith of a child.. The unquestioning, 100% believing and trusting faith of a child...

There is this old story... Pretty inspiration... Let's call it the umbrella story...

There was this tiny little town in America... It was on this special year that the town was hit with drought for an entire year... The inhabitants of the town were starting to worry... They tried all they could.. but as you know.. it was virtually impossible to make rain with our own human hands or with our own human intelligence... They were desperate.. Out of desperation, the entire town finaly decided to commit the problem to God - their LAST resort... They called for a meeting at the church one sunday morning and invited everyone in the town.. Everyone came... Amongst them was this little boy.. before he left for church that day.. he told his mum that they had better bring an umbrella... His mum, simply smiled and dragged him along to church.. with that umbrella... That day... after they prayed it rained... Little did they know that it rained because of that small boy - the only boy who had enough faith to bring an umbrella to church that day...

So perhaps, none of us really need to master the bible and ponder about the way things work on earth... I mean.. of course if we have the spare time, mental capacity and energy... there is no harm thinking abit more.. the most important thing is to believe that if you ask.. you SHALL recieve... 100% guarantee... Therefore, when you pray, trust that it will be given to you... whether it be healing of diseases, forgiveness of sins, excellent examination results, excellent performance in sports... whatever it is that you ask, shall be yours.. Ask it in that manner... and it will SURELY be given to you...
